Now that you’re off the waitlist, it’s time to kick off your onboarding journey! Here’s what to expect over the next 3-4 weeks:
First up, we’ll schedule a one-on-one Discovery Call. This is where we dive into your life, your work, and what makes you tick. We’ll use these insights to craft your personal User Manual—a guide tailored to how you work best.
As you get started, your assistant is completing their first week of intensive, in-person training alongside a cohort of other Athena assistants. Through hands-on simulations and real-life scenarios, they’re mastering the art of email, calendar, and travel management, and honing their time management and executive presence skills.
Using your User Manual, your work compatibility survey, and everything we’ve learned about you, our matching team is carefully selecting the best assistant for you. When your match is ready—typically about a week after your Discovery Call—we’ll send you their details via email. All you have to do is confirm!
At this stage, your assistant has completed their final week of training, honing their AI and research skills, practicing advanced communication and security best practices, and learning project management basics. They’ve passed final evaluations and are officially Athena-certified—ready to hit the ground running with you.
This is the big day! You’ll meet your assistant and their coach, who will support you both throughout your partnership. Your Kickoff Call is where you’ll set expectations, align on goals, and start building a strong working relationship.
The week or so before your Kickoff Call is the time to get all your ducks in a row. Make sure your SOPs and key documents are organized and ready to share. If you have an IT department, now’s the time to ensure your assistant can be set up with email and calendar access. Most importantly, block out time in the weeks ahead to train, onboard, and connect with your newest team member—it’s an investment that will pay off in the long run.
Before your Kickoff Call, your assistant will spend 4–5 days diving deep into your world. They’ll be studying your User Manual, reviewing your Discovery Call, learning about your business, and—together with their coach—setting up systems and workflows to ensure your partnership is a success.
By the time you meet, your assistant will already have a solid understanding of how you work and be ready to integrate seamlessly into your life.
