Jonathan Swanson is the Founder and Chairman of Athena, which he has been leading since 2020. A repeat entrepreneur with a track record of creating impactful businesses, Jonathan also founded Powerset in 2022, a platform that helps elite technical founders manage angel investment funds of $1 million or more. Previously, as Founder and Chairman of Thumbtack, he supported over 100,000 small businesses in generating billions in revenue each year. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University and studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford in 2004.
